Life
I have been married to the same man since 3 days after graduation... hard to believe it has been 16 years. I have 3 sons, Brandon (will be 16 in October), Brett (will be 14 in October), and Bradley (will be 12 in July). We live in Florida since the end of 2000. would love to hear from old friends.
Updated...3-7-03 Starting a new job with Airtran airways and getting DIVORCED all in the same month. Also currently employed with Walt Disney world. Other than that no changes..
Updated...4/11/04 Still working for Airtran Airways in Orlando Fl. My son Brandon is going to be a senior this year in Melvindale MI, he is gonna be 17 in October. Brett will be in 10th grade down here in Orlando he is going to be 15 in October and Bradley is going into 8th grade in Orlando and he just turned 13 in July. I am divorced but doing ok.
Updated....3/25/05....Currently working as a server at Nascar Cafe, got tired of all the nasty attitudes from passengers at the airport (very stressful job). Wow, just a few months now and my son Brandon will be graduating from Melvindale High school himself...do I feel old now! Fortunately I am only 36 years old and still young enough to enjoy it. Brett is now in 10th grade and Brad is in 8th grade, they are growing fast and have turned into some really great young gentlemen. I am proud of them all. As for me, I am working on some changes in my life, and becoming very good friends with my ex who I was married to for such a very long time, and dont believe I ever really got to know, I am enjoying getting to know him again. Looking forward to my boys moving back to Florida with me in June, it will be nice to have my family back. It just isnt the same with just me and Brett....as you know teens want to spend all their time with their friends, not their mom...so we dont spend a whole lot of time together like we used to.
updated 5/19/05...my dad just died today of melanoma after a short 5 month hard suffering. He is in a much better place now. Now i have to return to my life in Florida and find a job, since I have been in Michigan for almost 5 months.
RIP dad! I miss you lots!
updated 07/20/05....Well, My oldest son just graduated from Melvindale High, and my younger two are back living with me in Florida. I am teaching pre-school, I have my own class of 3 year olds....it is fun and interesting, and keeps me young. I am also going to school for my associates in Child development. Starting to finally enjoy my life.
updated 08/12/06...I am now working for the Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Fl, I work in the guidance office of the high school that my sons attend. I really enjoy being involved in their school, and being able to spend more time with them. The hours are great, and I get to have a normal life again. My ...Expand for more
ex husband and I are back living together for about the last year, and trying to start a new life together. I guess sometimes people just need a break, in our case it was about 2 years. My oldest son is now a freshman in college, and my middle one is a senior in high school and my youngest is in 10th grade. Time is really flying by, and yet, I still feel so young. I guess having my kids early really did have benefits after all.
UPDATED 12/2/2006 Not much changed since I last wrote, the boys are great and I am really enjoying my job at the high school. Seriously thinking about getting remarried, just not sure when. Steve and I are great, don't want to ruin a good thing ya know. I am looking forward to my 20th reunion next year.

Favorite teachers?? Mrs Sokolowski and Mrs Brackett (I miss you ladies, you were very helpful to me to become the best mom I could be. Although I didnt wait like you told me to, I at least knew the basic skills of taking care of my baby)
My best friends? Kim Turman, Tonya Dodd, and Stefanie Daniels (you guys were the best friends anyone could ever have, we had some super wonderful times and I will never forget them. Although we have gone our seperate ways, you are all three very dear to me and I love and miss you all!
craziest memories? all the fun times at Mr Billiards....and driving around causing problems with the girls in other cities. Some of the things were really stupid now when I look back, but what great memories I have with sooo many people.
UPDATE 04/01/08..Same old around here, we did just buy a new house in Port St John, Florida...about 5 mins from Kennedy Space Center and 10 from the beach. LOVE IT!! Brad is now in 11th grade, Brandon and Brett are still in college, and doing great. Brandon finally moved back home last November and we love having him back with us, close by. Brett moved out recently and is living with a friend in Orlando. I am very proud of my boys...they are turning out to be great young men. Steve and I are still doing good, we have our moments. We didnt remarry yet, but we have talked about it. Dont know if i am quite ready yet. Still working for the school, hate the 35 minute commute now, but love the job.
update...1/4/09 still living in Florida...I am going back to college for RN in Nursing. My boys have all moved out on their own, Brandon is in Michigan...Brett is working at Florida Hospital, and lives in Orlando...and Brad is going to the same high school in Orlando and lives with Friends. he graduates in 09.
I am enjoying being a so-called, empty nester.
