Jennifer's Story
Life
Believe it or not, I have a baby! I spent 10 years in the automotive engineering field working on the computer designing engine parts. Eventually I became a manager at a supplier. Got so stressed out, I decided it wasn't worth it. Now I'm a stay at home mom.
School
High School sucked.
College
College was much better. I finished my associate degree and put it to work right away. While working full-time, I went to U of M Flint and Oakland University, to take engineering classes. Never ...Expand for more

Workplace
1991-1993: Math Lab at Lansing Community College
1993 Aug-Dec: Rapistan Demag, documenting conveyor warehouse layouts.
1994-1997: General Motors Powertrain V6 Division, designing engine components, primarily exhaust and air induction.
1997-2003: INA USA Corporation Engine Components Division: designer / design manager of Engine Components for a major supplier. Primarily worked on valvetrain and front-end-accessory-drive components.
2003-present: stay-at-home-mom
