Life
My "personal life"
I had surgery on my foot in 2000 to correct the limp I got as a result of my stroke in 1990. Although I am not dancing ballet just yet.. there has been a marked improvment in my mobility and attitude! I met my boyfriend Aaron Cool (a LCHS gradute/rival) in April 01. We decided a long time ago that we will get married..one day.. but we are being very unconvetional about the way we are doing things (ie- went on a week long cruise after only dating for 6 months, bought a house together, etc) and I'm still not even engaged, but I know I found my match for sure!
My Location
In July 03 i was pursuaded by my parents to move to Lake Norman, NC. They got a great lakefront home & it was like being on vacation every day! They asked me to bring also my then 2.5 year boyfriend, Aaron to live with us too. After living with them since July 03, Aaron and I found a great house about a mile and 1/2 away from my folks asnd we closed on the house/moved in on March 24, 2005 less than a month after we saw it! It's been great to date. We almost finally even have the pool open! Lake Norman is located about 30 minutes north of charlotte. en we were younger, but the secret of this area is getting out and i expect it will all be paved over within the next 10 years (like loudoun was. The lake itsaelf is about 33 miles around, but has over 500 miles of shoreline and over 33,000 acres of water. It's truly beautiful and tons of fun in the summer!
Pets/Kids
No kids yet.. (mainly due tolack of marriage/engagement) but I figure I have a few good years left in me to enjoy non-parenthood. Aaron & I did resuce 2 5-week-old, left-on-the-side-of the-road kittens at the end of April 05. Smokey and Bandit are doing great and are enough "children" for us right now!
My Job
I work as listing coordinator and marketing maganger to a team of 5 realtors at beautyiful Lake Norman, NC. I completed realtor class in April and will betaking the state realtor exam soon. I do not intend to be a realtor just yet, but at least if I have this part out of the way it will be easier later! Not quite sure how I ended up in real estate, not something I planned on for sure!
Still in Contact?
I am in contact with Nicole Howard who has visited me a few times already in NC. Other than that, contact has been slim to none. I am looking foewrd to the reunion.
