Jennifer's Story
Life
After graduating magna cum laude from Duke, I went on to get my MA in liberal studies also from Duke in '98. In November 1997, I married my college sweetheart, Josh
Hardison, T '94, and we then moved to Rhode Island for four years where he completed his medical residency at Brown University/Women and Infants' Hospital. I have worked in various positions in higher education administration including the NC School of Science and Math, Duke, Brown, Wheaton College, and Boston College. now work as a writer and as Executive Director of the Vance County Arts Council in Henderson, NC. My husband is an ob/gyn physician in a three-person practice, the Henderson Clinic for Women. We keep busy through work and travel. Recent trips include stints to Paris, Curacao and Mexico with an upcoming adventure to Italy. I keep in touch with a couple of people from high school, but have otherwise lost contact with everyone else. My parents still live in Va. Beach, so I still visit fairly frequently.
