Life
Since graduation, I have had a great opportunity to travel the world- for free!!!! I left not quite two weeks after graduation and ended up in Anchorage Alaska, where I spent three years. It was there that I had my first child, Ryane, who is now eight years old. In July 1997, I moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, and was divorced from Ryane's father in April 1998. In September 1999, I went to Taszar, Hungary for 6 months. I also visited Germany, Paris, Bosnia, Croatia, and Ireland while I was there. I returned to Oklahoma in April 2000, and in October decided to go back to Alaska. By this time I was married again. My second child, Shawn Patrick, was born on Dec 16, 2002, and was diagnosed with Popliteal Pterygium Syndrome, which includes cleft lip and palate. lter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC so that they could take care of him. He is now 17 months old, has had nine operations, and has just started to walk. He spent 12 weeks in casts on his right leg, and his doctors anticipated that he may walk by age three. Anyway- I anticipate that I will be here for a while. I am still in the army, coming up on 10 years, and I am perfectly content with what I am doing. I have also been attending Troy State University through a program that the Army offers, and will graduate in December. So far, I have paid absolutely nothing for my college education. My husband and I are also raising his three daughters from his previous marriage. I guess you could say that I have had my hands full. I wish everyone the best and cannot wait for the reunion in August.
