Jennifer's Story
Life
My plans got just a tad derailed after high school. Still, after some ups and downs, I really like where I am now. I still live in Portland with my cats (Princess and Pauper) and it feels like I work constantly, but I like it. I'm hoping to go back to school soon, too, and eventually get enough degrees to go into abnormal and/or forensic psychology, which is way off base from anything I ever imagined I'd be doing... but I think that's a good thing in the long run. :)
School

College
I went to my dream college (and the only one I applied to), Pacific Lutheran University. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay there for what was one very shaky year due to some personal issues. Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything... I met some really wonderful people and had some amazing experiences, short lived though they were.
Workplace
I currently work for the City of Portland, at the Bureau of Emergency Communications, as a 911 Calltaker/Police & Fire Dispatcher. Not where I would've imagined myself had you asked me 10 years ago, but I love it.
