Jennifer's Story
Life
Bill and I dated in high school and got married in 2002. In 2004, we had our first child, Katie. On November 9, 2005, we welcomed John into the family. We own our own business and I work out of our home. We enjoy traveling --- cruises or tropical beaches. We'll be going to Hawaii this November. We own a townhome in Covina, right past San Dimas hospital. Bill's parents live in Las Vegas, so we travel to Nevada quite a bit... not to mention the fact that I love the craps tables!
College
I went to University of La Verne and lived at home the entire time. I pretty much just went to class and wasn't involved much in the school. I majored in Television Production, so a lot of outside classtime went to making movies and editing. My other time was spent dancing in the shows at Disneyland and partying with my friends from there. TGI Fridays was a popular hangout during those years. One year, I was dancing in the afternoon show and the night show, rehearsing for the upcoming show from midnight to 5 a.m. and then taking classes that began at 9 a.m. It was a crazy time. Now, I look back and wonder how I had the energy (and when I slept --- parking lots in my car for an hour here and an hour there was frequent!) But, now that I'm a mother of two, one of which is...Expand for more
under a a month old, I realize that the human body can get by on very little sleep for a very long time! :)
Workplace
During my senior year of high school, I began dancing at Disneyland in the parades and shows. I did this through college and was in about 12 different shows. After college, I worked at the Soap Opera, The Young & The Restless for 2 years. I worked in the production booth with the director and producer as a Production Assoicate. I got sick of the commute to Hollywood, so I went to work for the Entertainment Department at Disneyland as a Project Planner. I was in charge of hiring Entertainment and arranging the decor for private parties in the theme park and at the 3 hotel properties. I then began working for Broadcast Services at Disneyland, working on film shoots and commercials for the theme Park. I quit there last year to open up my own company, Premier Image Productions, a video production and editing company. I work from home so that I can stay home with my kids. I still dance every once in a while and choreograph a show here and there. For the last eight years, I have choreographed the St. Lucy's Starlight Serenade (spring musical that was started our senior year as a voice production). I began in 1998, bringing dance to the vocal show.
