Jennifer's Story

I've worked for KSUT Four Corners Public Radio since 2004. I am the Director of Underwriting, and also do special events, fundraisers and am a DJ Tuesday mornings. I live in Durango, Colorado...and have since 2001. My husband Chip and I have a little girl, named Hailey and 2 cats and a dog. We are pretty outdoorsy and moved here for the outdoor opportunities and 4 seasons. Life in Colorado is pretty laid back, people are friendly and pretty cool. After high school, I left Escondido and haven't been back since. I graduated with a degree in public relations. I have worked in the non-profit world (as a fund-raiser) since 1997 and love it. I have also been a river guide on the Colorado - which was amazing! My husband and I have 3 rafts and now we do personal river trips with friends and family. My life has been quite a journey since high school. On a sad note, I gave birth to twins in October of 2006 - and we lost our sweet Hayden after 10 days. It was the worst possible experience of our lives. But Hailey is incredible and keeps us going. Kids are the best! Life is definitely a journey. To quote Sheryl Crow "Everyday is a winding road..."
