Jennifer's Story
Life
I'm now running two businesses: making natural skin care products, and tutoring English as a Second Language. The tutoring is a joy, because I get to play with language while also helping kids feel more confident in themselves. I do that in the evenings, and it really turns around a bad day. I think I've permanently stepped away from the law as a profession, but continue to use it...Expand for more
when I volunteer. My family goes up in generations, rather than down, as I help my parents take care of my grandmother. Being in Boston means I'm near extended family and many college classmates, so I finally feel rooted, and after almost five years of being here I still haven't gotten bored of that feeling. I garden, I dance, I fail to adequately describe myself in a single paragraph.
