Jennifer's Story
Life
I have done quite a bit since high school. I graduated early to join the military - but found out that I had Endometriosis - and was denied entrance. I then went to three different colleges for Forestry, EMT, Phlebotomy, and police academy. I met my husband, a career-military man, just before the police thing. We had our first child - against medical odds - in 2000. I then started at a new school and received my certificate and Bachelors in Paralegal Studies. I had a second child in 2003. I was in the CA Army National Guard - 31B/MP- till 2009. I graduated from law school in 2013, and I moved to Pennsylvania in 2015. I am currently a Special Projects Manager for a California manufacturing company.
School
I love to learn new things, and have majored in just about everything. My advice to everyone else...Life is learning, our actions are generally futile, but our worth ends up being immeasurable no matter what path we choose. Nike is right - just do it.
College

Major in everything, leave some type of mark wherever you go, and dance. Don't forget to dance...even if you look like a chicken.
Workplace
I have done just about everything - I have worked as a security guard, receptionist, phlebotomist/lab assistant, Claims Manager, an HR director for a fireworks company (I still do on-call work for them and help with displays), and I am currently a Special Projects Manager for a manufacturing facility in California.
*I always wanted to be a police officer when I grew up. I was a military police officer in the Army, but have learned that anyone can ensure the safety of our communities. Help out in your neighborhood. Keep out the bad, and motivate the good. The spirit is in your heart.
*I blow off steam by running, working out, and throwing heavy implements. My oldest passes me up now...my husband just watches from his car. :0)
*The wildest thing I ever did in school...you should know. I had all the parties!
