I moved here in 1996 and began attending Mauldin High as a freshman along with my older brother, Josh. That was when there were 3,000 students and it was the older, smaller building. (Of course they don't renovate the darn thing until after I leave!) I got a job when I was 16 years old working at Perkins Family Restaurant as a hostess in July of 1999 I think. I graduated high school in 2000. My best friends throughout these years were: Sheri Radcliffe, Ashlee Woodbeck, and Amanda Williams. There are some others but I haven't kept in great touch so I can't quite remember their names. There are some other people that I later became friends with in college too! I had some great influences during those years and I will never forget them. I will not reveal my biggest crush completely... his name was Steve. Thats it! He did move away. If I could do HS all over again...I would probably be undecided. I did not care for it and there are things I would have loved to change. For example, this one boy who I extremely disliked and he picked on me, the things I would say to him now. I am more bold and less shy these days. He is probably not doing much of anything anyways. A favorite memory...pep rallies, senior week, chick-fil-a lunches, my child development class, P.E. days, etc. Oh and getting my first car...a Saturn Coupe. I loved that thing. Anyways, compared to college...I would do college all over again in a heartbeat. I lived the LIFE there...
