Jeramie's Story
Life
Hello everyone. I hope all of you are doing well. My life is going great. I am married to a really great woman that I met when I got out of the Marine Corps. Her name is Katie. We have a son, Matthew Wayne, who was born in 2005. We also have a little girl, Olivia Shay, born in 2007. I would like to hear from you. If your not busy, drop me a line.
School
Sure do miss that little town in Missouri. Just kidding! I am glad I got out and got to travel all over the world. If the class of 95 is going to have a reunion drop me a line.
College
I enrolled at University Nevada Reno when I got out of the Service in the early part of 1999. I worked full time and took night, evening & weekend classes. I am about half of the way thru my Junior year. At this rate I might be done by 2029, better late then never I guess.
Workplace
I have worked for Two Different Harley-Davidson Dealerships since I got out of the Service. I also delivered Budweiser for a while when needing a break fr...Expand for more
om the Harley thing. That was a cool job because no one gets upset at the Bud Guy. Now I am the General Manager at Carson City Harley-Davidson and Eaglerider of Reno & Lake Tahoe.
Military
I completed Bootcamp at MCRD San Diego as the Platoon Honorman of Charlie Company Platoon 1003, Graduated as LCpl E-3. Went to Camp Pendelton to Kilo Company 3/5 (Helocopter Company) I was a HERST Master (Tied Knots in Helos & on Towers and Cliffs, I received Cpl E-4. I was also with India Company (Boat Company) we spent a lot of time in the Ocean, the water is always cold. While with 3/5 I went to Japan, Russia, Singapore, Thialand, Iwo Jima, Korea, Hawaii & Alaska. I was on the USS Belleau Wood & the USS Dubuque, while on the Duduque I was shellbacked with the other Marines in India Co. 3/5.
While in Japan I was an Instructor at the Northern Traing Area of Okinawa, while stationed there I pick-up the Rank of Sgt E-5
I came back state side and got out of the Marine Corps in March of 1999.
