d my Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Alabama (roll tide!). I moved out to Aiken, SC to begin work at the Savannah River Site. After working there for a year, I accepted a position at Plant Vogtle, a nuclear power plant in the Southern Company system. I have worked here for 5 and a half years holding the positions of system engineer and now a Shift Support Supervisor. I obtained a Senior Reactor Operator license in July 2009.
I am happily married to my wife of 6 years. We have one child, who just recently made his debut in late 2010.".
