Life
My name is no longer Jerilyn Scott. I remarried 07-03-2004 to Charles Jerome. We have been happily married for almost 7 months now and he adopted my youngest daughter, Tristan.
Workplace
I work at the Portage Police Department as a Communications Officer. I train new Communication Officers, update warrants, paged out Officers, Ambulance, and Fire for the City of Portage, answer all incoming calls; which is five regular lines and one line for 911, type citations and short reports, and deal with the day to day politics of day shift. e only thing I don't like about it is working weekends and you possibly have to work 12 hour shifts; due to vacations or someone calling in sick.
In 2007, I became a grandmother. A bouncing, now 7 month old 20 pound boy. He is grandma's pride and joy. I have found in the last 7 months being a grandmother is alot better than being a parent, I should of had them first, hehehe. Although, he does ware me out because he is not quiet walking yet. Boy, and I thought when I turned 40, I would have all the free time in the world, since all my kids are over 18 now. But, in the long run, I would spend every waking moment with that boy if I had the chance to win the lottery.
