Jerome's Story

CURRENTLY I'm retired from the Upholstery Trade & from being a weekend musician for most of my life. Since my conversion in 1970; I've written many songs that the Lord has put into my heart thru the yrs. I have compiled together the most listened to on CdBaby & iTunes and my prayer is that the 'Word of the Lord' in the music will plant a seed of hope in the heart of the listener as well as bless my fellow bro. & sisters in the Lord. Show and listening to him on the Radio & Juke Box; ("Thats Aright Mama" "Heartbreak Hotel" Etc.) After learning a few chords and driving my family crazy; at age 14 I started playing in some of the local taverns and at some local dances. Our family eventually moved to a small coastal town in California and by that time I was 18 and formed a band with some of my cousins and an uncle and started playing at a local pizza night club, and continued up the late 60s. Early in 1970 I accepted the Lord into my heart and my life changed dramatically; there's been a lot of bumps in the road but the Lord has never left me nor forsaken me. I've come a long way since then and my walk with the Lord just keeps getting better each day. Jerome James Herrera
