Jerry's Story
Jerry is from Bountiful, Utah. He is married. His schools include Utah Street Elementary School. He later attended University of Utah. He works(ed) at Re/Max Kai Lani A Family run Real Estate Company in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii, The U.S. Army, Cummins Inc.

He retired from the United States Army in the Grade of Colonel of Ordnance in 1987 after which he had three diverse careers in International and Domestic Sales and Marketing with AM General Corporation of South Bend Indiana, Cummins Engine Company of Columbus Indiana and Ulven Forging Company of Hubbard Oregon.
Having subsequently established his credentials as a highly successful Professional Property Manager he is slowing down a bit in order to be even more professional in helping friends, neighbors, strangers and others to find just the right home. RE/MAX Kai Lani operates out of Kailua Hawaii where the company provides Real Estate Sales support for discerning buyers and sellers of Residential Real Estate and Premier Residential Property Management Services throughout Oahu.
Jerry entered the Real Estate business as a Property Manager with RE/MAX Honolulu in April of 2000 where he learned Property Management from the ground up (college of hard knocks) and successfully built and established their continuing and successful Property Management Department. He and his wife “Sam” subsequently opened RE/MAX Kai Lani in Kailua in June, 2005 where Jerry was 100% dedicated to managing the Property Management activities of the company and does not involve himself in the Real Estate sales business of the company – at all. This is exclusively handled by his wife and business partner, "Sam" Bangerter.
Jerry was selected as a member of the Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR) Legislative Committee in 2001 and subsequently served as Chair of the Committee for two years in 2004 and 2005. He answered a call to serve as the Chair of the Honolulu Board of Realtors (HBR) Political Action Committee (PAC) in 2006 and was selected as Chair of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) Political Affairs Committee. He was honored as the NARPM “Volunteer of the Year” in 2007 for his work in this capacity.
Jerry published several articles in the NARPM monthly News Magazine, “Residential Resource" in 2007.
Jerry is a graduate of the United States Army War College the United states Navy War College and the University of Utah. He is an active member in good standing of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church).".
