Life JERRY D. BROWN PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY Jerry D. Brown has a law office in Oklahoma City. He limits his practice to consumer bankruptcies and consumer protection law, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act. His hobbies include reading, golf and music. Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. While in college, Mr. Brown served as an intern for the Honorable Wes Watkins, U.S. House of Representatives. Afterward, Mr. Brown received a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at Oklahoma City University, where he graduated among the top one-quarter of his class. Mr. Brown has been self-employed since 2000. In 2007, Mr. Brown received an ¡§AV¡¨ rating from Martindale-Hubble, the highest recognition of competency and ethics for an attorney. Mr. Brown is a member of the American Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma. He is also admitted to the practice in the federal district courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, as well as the United States Appellate Court for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Brown¡¦s professional memberships include the Conference on Consumer Finance Law, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the OBA Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section. Mr. Brown is a noted author on consumer bankruptcies and consumer-related law.
