Jerry's Story

Life Virginia Bound!! (the State, as in the Commonwealth, not to be confused with a woman named Virginia). My new employer is located in Richmond, Virginia. Start date is July 9, 2007. The Clarks who were nomads came from Scotland in the mid 1700’s to Virginia. After the War Between the States, my ancestors moved from Virginia to present day Knox County, Indiana. After working to pay for my college education at Vincennes University, located in Knox County, and Indiana State University; I stole cars while working for Ford Motor Credit (repossessed cars). After three years I began working in insurance. My career has sent me in order to: 1) Marshall, Illinois; 2) San Jose California; 3) Oakland, California; 4) Reno, Nevada; 5) back to Oakland, California; 6) Boston, Massachusetts; 7) Dover, New Hampshire; 8) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 9) Dallas/Plano/McKinney, Texas; 10) Manchester, New Hampshire; and now to Richmond, Virginia. I work in the claims part of the insurance industry. I have settled claims for millions of dollars for asbestos bodily injury, pollution, toxic tort, products, and other property casualty claims from coast to coast. ...Expand for more
I have been a supervisor and Home Office examiner. To date I have not found a wife to motivate me to stay in one place. It is interesting to me that if had not been for my family’s pending move back to Indianapolis (that never happen and the pending move lasted to end of the Freshman year) shortly after moving to Louisville; the first female member of the class of 1976 that I would have ask to a Home Coming dance in October 1971 is named Ginny/Virginia (a mistake on my part in not telling her that would have ask, but was moving). The drive from Richmond, Virginia to my mothers and one of brothers in Indiana will take me thru Louisville, Kentucky. If you see a deep cherry red 40th edition Pontiac two door Grand Prix, Virginia plates JMC1, on I64 it is me. I have been a member of Toastmasters International a non profit speaking/leadership organization since 1988 and I have held all Club and District Officer positions. The book that I am starting to read is the second book that I have read by Mike Evans: “The Final Move Beyond Iraq.” Hello, to all 111 people (or visits) who have viewed my profile.
