Jerry's Story
Life
Graduated from South in June of 1958. Joined U.S. Army in August 1958 along with 4 other South High grads Steve Remec, Frank Michalik, Larry Gusky and Joe Knight. Spent 3 years on active duty, 14 months overseas in Germany. Discharged from active duty in August of 1961. 1964, went to work for then Republic Steel, later LTV Steel. Retired after 37 years with company. Still see my HS buddies the last Monday of every month, we meet at The Calla Club on Canal Road for dinner and drinks. Are now in the process of planning our 50th reunion, any input would be appreciated. Come out and see us some Monday evening. Wife's name is Nancyann, we've been married for 24 years.
