Jerry's Story
I left for the Army just a few weeks after graduating high school no time wasted and there i remained for the next 12 years, they sent me to Iraq twice, Afghanistan twice and many other places everywhere and in between. met my wife in Colorado, we eventually had a son together and moved to California in 2011 after getting medically retired out of the army. I went to school for automotive at wyotech in Fremont, CA and worked as an auto technician for Ferrari and Maserati of north America in Redwood city, CA for 4 years then worked for Tesla motors as a field remote mobile service tech for another 4 years, decided i needed a change so went back to school again for 2 years at Aviation Institute in Fremont, ca where i got my FAA A&P Airframe and Power-plant license and pursued a commercial pil...Expand for more
ot license which i was unable to complete, to be continued tho, then covid happened and the airlines were all laying off so i went back to school a 3rd time at IBT in Santa Clara, CA and studied electrical, August 9th 2020 i was hired as the lead technician for the Assembly, Integrations and testing of spacecrafts at Maxar Space Infrastructures in San Jose, Ca where i build, integrate and test geospatial space satellites with in a 10k clean room for partners like NASA, space x, jet propulsion laboratories, Raytheon, Asia sat etc… my company is the entity who has provided the images of what has been going on in Ukraine since Russia invaded, i had a major leading role in the integration of the telescope and optics into the satellite that took those images from the world view legion satellite.
