Jerry's Story

Life Since leaving school, I moved to Grand Junction, Co. In 1977 I moved to San Diego. Got involved in house and condo construction. Went to a welding trade school and learned 5 (and certified) welding processes. I then became a welding instructor for a brief time before becoming a journeyman maritime ironworker at one of the largest ship yards on the west coast. From that point I got involved in Quality Assurance as an NDT (non destructive testing) Inspector. I then opened my own business as a freelance Structur...Expand for more
al and NDT inspector. Some of my projects include: The BankOne Ballpark for the AZ. Diamondbacks and Safeco Stadium for the Seattle Mariners. I am also a Maritime Structural and NDT Inspector with over 15 hulls assigned to me to coordinate Inspection and testing operations during new construction. Most ships ranging in the 1000 foot length. Now I am currently involved in classified military projects brought on by the events of 9/11. I have a 18 year old son who is my pride and joy. Life gets better all the time!
