Jerry's Story
Life
Moved to California in 68, joined the US Air Force in 69, went to Vietnam that year. In 70 they sent me to the Philippines, got married there (DUMB MOVE!!),transfered to Cajun country [England AFB LA.], in 72 then to Holloman AFB in 73, to Guam in 75, came back to the states in 77, stationed at Altus AFB Oklahoma for three years, got divorced, went to Germany for 2 years in 80, came back to Holloman AFB in 82, got married AGAIN (DUMBER MOVE!!), went to Germany again for 4 and a half years in 1985, retired from the Air Force in Oct 1989 and moved to Florida, lived there for 3 years, moved back to Farmington in 1992, moved to Bakersfield California in 1994, Got divorced AGAIN in 1997! Been stuck here in Kalifoirnia for going on 15 years, worked as an electrician up until the end of 2007 and I've been RETIRED since! :)
I have two grown daughters living near Tacoma Washington and both have careers in the medical field. My oldest is a MSgt in the Air Force Reserve and was deployed to Iraq in 2006 with her Air Evac Unit out of McChord AFB. She returned safely and is working on a nursing degree through the University of Washington. My youngest daughter was in the regular Air Force for 6 years and trained as a Radiology Technician and she now works for a clinic in Spanaway Washington. I now have four grandchildren, two girls from my oldest daughter, two boys from my youngest daughter.
