Jerry's Story
Life
Graduated from High School, stayed in the area of Pikeville for approximately two years, joined the Air Force and was stationed in Del Rio, Texas as an Administrator, transferred to Las Vegas and spent three years with the Air Force Thunderbirds before moving to Stuttgart, Germany. After Germany, my wife and I returned to Cocoa Beach, Florida, where I got out of the Air Force after 12 years and moved back to Del Rio, Texas. Was unemployed for a year, then got a job with a local furniture company as their office manager....after about 10 months, I was offered a job as a U.S. Customs Servi...Expand for more
ce Inspector in Laredo, Texas. I spent three years in Laredo at which time, my wife and I adopted a little girl. Her name is Taylor. My family and I then moved to the Washington, D.C. area for the next 7 years and then moved back to Texas in 2003 and now live in Corpus Christi, Texas and I still work for the now Customs and Border Protection as a Training Officer in the Air and Marine Office. I am also an Associate Pastor in the Gulf Plains Cowboy Church in Kingsville, Texas and have been preaching since February 2009. I look forward to talking to my classmates from Virgie. Please write.
