Jerry's Story
Life
After GHS and Citrus J.C., I spent three years in the U.S. Army. When I got home I moved to San Diego, finished school and went into banking. I worked for two major banks, then changed to mortgage banking after going through two mergers. I retired in 2007 as a mortgage fraud investigator when the mortgage industry began its collapse.
My wife, Francie, and I still live in San Diego County. We have three grown children and three wonderful grand children.
I have attended all of our reunions, and look forward to many more! I also attended the all class reunions in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and had a ball. I only knew my brother when I got there the first time, but met the brothe...Expand for more

Military
I was stationed in Franfurt Germany in Sig Svc Unit Det 1, and worked in the crypto vault of NACOM Comm Center in the I.G. Farben building. As an independent signal unit, we were not based on a Kassern and lived in a leased apartment building on Hanssa Allee. We walked out the front door onto the sidewalk. My favorite memory is of teaching then Lt. General Abrams, V Corps, also in the Farben building, how to use the crypto gear he had the closet of his office! Ours had be be kept in a vault with 4' thick concrete walls with a man trap entrance. RHIP! It was great duty in the early 60's when the Germans still liked us.
