Life Lived in Milwaukie until my sophomore year in high school, then moved to Oregon City to finish out high school. Met my wife at Clackamas Community College. We were married in 1978 and are still together. Have two great boys. Got into software engineering in '75 doing embedded programming, have been doing that ever since. Just got back from two years in the heart of California's Sonoma Valley wine country. Loved the area and the fact that there were over 300 wineries within a half hour drive of my house! Have a new appreciation for California wines, I must admit. School Parents moved from Milwaukie to Oregon City in my sophomore year, so I missed graduating with all the friends I grew up with at Hector Campbell Grade School, Rowe Junior High and Milwaukie High School. Of course, I did make a whole new set of friends at Oregon City High School, some of whom I keep in touch with to this day. Was involved in Drama and Photography at OCHS and worked on the yearbook. College Went to Clackamas Community College for a couple of years, trying on different programs such as Journalism and Photography, but didn't really click on anything for a career. Met my wife there when I turned 21 - she was one of the few students I could actually go to a tavern with! A couple of years later, I heard about the Computer Software Technician program at Portland Community College and got into it. ...Expand for more
