Jess Robert's Story

Hi everyone. Gosh..... It's been a long time! Over 29 years since we (MHS - Class of 1979) graduated. And only one reunion. Over 19 years ago! I have not seen most of you since then. I stay in touch with Bill Harl and Gerald Dirickson, that's about it. They are still my best friends. I've been meaning to join this site for some time, and have finally found the time to do so. I am off work today, because we are in the middle of an ice storm (12-10-07). I thought this might be a productive thing to do on my surprise day off. An update about myself. I am now 47 years old, going on 48 (don't look nor act it though). I have been divorced for three years now. I have no children. I am currently in the construction business after spending almost 20 years in sales. I just love it. It was definitely time for a change in occupation. I have lived in Fairview, Oklahoma for over 14 years. It is a really nice, small city (3,000 population) with an exceptional school system (highest SAT scores in the state), great...Expand for more
community pride, and no crime whatsoever. It is located about 40 miles southwest of Enid. We also have Canton Lake nearby. A great lake. Sandy shores all the way around, islands, crystal blue water, and beautiful campsites, with lots of trees and grass. I own a personal watercraft, so this is great. I travel often, so I always look forward to coming home to my small city. I would compare it to Marlow, as Marlow is, at the present time. My parents, Bernie and Janice, live in Lawton, and I have family in Duncan, so I drive through Marlow often. Still a very nice small city. I really miss it sometimes. I would just love to return "home", sometime in the future. I hope to hear from some of you. It would be nice to get together for a 30 year reunion in 2009. What do you think? Email me.
