Jesse's Story
Life
After leaving Arcata in 1989 I moved to Redding, Ca and went to Central Valley High School.
After Highschool I went into the US Navy for three years (USS George Washington). During my military service, I married my wife Tonya in Philidelphia, Pa, and had my first daughter Savannah in Jacksonville, FL.
Next, we moved back to Redding and started college. My wife and I both went to Shasta College, and I was in the US Army Reserves 319th Signal Bat. out of Sacramento, and I played football for the college. Upon getting our AA degree's, I was lucky enough to have recieved a full athletic scholarship to play football at San Jose State.
While at San Jose State, I was able to play against many of the top ranked teams in the nation, such as USC, Nebraska, Stanford,et. I then transferred to the Naval Reserves out of San Jose (Mobile Inshore Underwater Warfare Unit 104). We also had our second daughter, Mahala while in San Jose.
