Life
Updated 8/05
Since graduation I've kept myself busy. I went to Pierce for 2 years while I worked retail in the mall. I got burned out on the whole school thing so I enrolled in Bryman for Medical Assisting, while I was managing Mrs. Field's Cookies.
In 1999,after I graduated from Bryman, I went to work for Virginia Mason Medical Center in Federal Way. I contuned to work there for the next 3 years.
In August of 2000 I married Chad Dunn, someone I had met through ROTC. We had a rocky start (his parents walked out of the rehersal and almost didn't come to the wedding) but we're going strong. He is the most supportive, caring person I know.
In August 2001 I was diagnosed with the autoimmume disorders Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It was nice to finally have an answer to why I have felt miserable for so long. Through lifestyle modification, and medication I'm doing well, but I still have bad days.
Due to my disablilty I quit work in July 2002, and I don't miss a minute of it. My husband works at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and earns enough that we don't need me to work. This has helped my health more than anything. The stress of working even part time had me so run down that I could hardly do anything other than work.

almost the past 3 years we've lived in Port Orchard. I love it here. The pace of life is slow and the wild life is amazing. Just the other day I saw a bald eagle and sea otters.
We don't have any children yet, just my service dog, Hans. He's enough for right now. Due to my husband's job we travel quite a bit and it's eaiser not having children. In 2003 we spent August & September in San Diego and Texas, and November and December in Hawaii.
In August 2004 my sister, McKenzie, got married. Chad spent most of the summer in Hawaii working, but did come home for 5 days for her wedding.
For those of you who know my family, my mom and dad are doing well. They still live in the same house. Merry is doing better than she has in years, and Katie will be a senior this year.
School
The only thing I miss about High School is ROTC, Drill meets, and my firends.
College
Bryman was a walk in the park for me. Most of it was just a deeper look into what I learned in Medical Clinic Rotation. I finished with a 99.4% average in Medical Assisting, and was my class salutatorian.
Workplace
I haven't worked for the past two years and I love it! I have so much more time to do the things I want to do and travel with my husband when he works out of state.
