Life My life changed a lot soon after graduation, I moved out of Puerto Rico and traveled all the way to Miami, FL to start over from scratch. I sometimes miss Puerto Rico but I would never go back to live there. I have visited a couple of times and it felt good to drive around and remember places and people in addition to doing "the tourist thing". I plan to visit again in the future and be a tourist again. I now find myself in the Treasure Coast area of Florida living with my husband and 2 sons. School The high school years were a crazy time. Being a Pagan in a Catholic school (and country) was hard but I survived. I now have a lot of memories, both good and bad that helped define who I'm and helped me in my journey into college in Florida. I sometimes wonder about my old classmates, I wasn't close to most of them but I still wish them the best and wonder where life has taken them, I would love to reconnect. College Attended the Honors College at Florida International University from 1999 to 2001 studying International Relations and Political Science. Had to take a break when I got a very demanding full time job and moved to the other side of town. I also took a couple of courses online at Canyon College but I got too busy with work and activism to continue. I am a Lifetime member of the National Society for Collegiate Scholars and Golden Key International Honor Society. While in the corporate world I realized that although a college degree looks good on paper, book smarts doesn't equal street smarts and I climbed the corporate ladder a lot faster than my colleagues with degrees using only my brain.
