Jessica's Story
It's been a pretty wild ride since leaving good ol' Imlay City! After four 1/2 years at EMU I jumped into the tech world and stayed around the industry for the next fifteen years in different capacities, but in between I scooted all the way to the other side of the world and lived in Japan for a year teaching English. Once I got the travel bug I didn't stop for the next decade visiting Europe, Ghana, the Caribbean, Mexico, Japan a few more times, and even the Great Wall of China. some really cool people to add to my everlasting friendship circle. At 28 I met my soul mate, and we spent ten years together before making it official (we like to meander through change!), so now will be celebrating five years of marriage in May. A few years ago, I got the chance to start my own business and explore some other things I enjoy like starting a hobby farm raising goats and chickens, writing a book (Book One is now available with two more in the trilogy coming soon!), and picking up hobbies like clog dancing, philosophy, and painting.
