I worked in a couple of different places while I was still in College, way back when. But once I moved to the States it was different, because then I had to work for a living for the first time in my life.
I started working front desk jobs, all clerical. I took on extra jobs in retail, different stores. Then I got the chance to work in an Insurance Company in Philadelphia, called AIG and there I started getting training to work my way up. I was placed in the Pro...Expand for more
fessional Associate program, where I started underwriting. Stayed there until I moved back to the Dominican Republic.
Once I came back I worked for four years at INDOTEL which is the dominican version of the FCC. There I went from Analyst to Coordinator to Manager.
After resigning from that job, I am now General Manager at one of my dad's businesses. Here we import and distribute Motorcycle and Bicycle spare new parts. Business is going well and I am working in my area for my family. Done working for anyone else.
Can't complain.
