Life
I'm divorced. I have a 3 year old daughter. I've been working as a nursing assistant for the last 6 1/2 years. Nothing really exciting has happened in my life. It's just the usual. I'm a single mom, no relationship going on. I have the support of my family as far as my daughter goes. I am getting divorced for the second time. I have a four month old son from my second husband. That sounds so awful doesn't it? (my second husband). I believe everything happens for a reason. I am currently taking some online classes to become a medical assistant. Online classes are much more convienient for me because I can be home with my kids. Well, that is what's currently going on in my life....Expand for more
College
Let see. I went to Estrella Community College for one semester and then transferred to Pima Community College in Tucson. With the plans of transferring to U of A. But unfortunately I never got the opportunity to do so. I ended up going to Phoenix Job Corp and got my degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Workplace
Well, after highschool. While attending college I worked in retail. I worked at Payless Shoe Source and Dress Barn. Then I went to a trade school and got my nursing assistant license. And started working as an aide in a nursing home in Sun City. A few months later I got offered a CNA position at Del E. Webb Hospital. So that's how I got started as an aide.
