Jessie's Story
Life
I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago after graduation. I am divorced,with three grown children. I retired in November of 2012 after 41 years at the various incarnations of FNB Chicago. I am a volunteer for PADS, Public Action to Deliver Shelter, an organization that provides overnight shelter and meals to homeless persons in the south 'Burbs and a member of Generations For Peace, a peace group in the south 'Burbs. I am a member of SWIFT, South West Interfaith Team, a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization made up of synagogues, churches, and mosques located in the south and southwest suburbs. udge, deputy register and on several re-election committees. I am the the Co Conference Lay Leader for the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church. I am also one of the Illinois Ambassadors for Healthy Families, Healthy Planet, an organization working to improve maternal and prenatal healthcare in developing countries. I love concerts, plays,one of the items on my bucket list is to see August Wilson's ten plays in the Pittsburgh Cycle, 7 down, three to go and eating out at foreign restaurants. I am a die hard Luther and Anita Baker fan, and I love gospel music. I am very involved with my church,St Andrew UMC in Homewood where I serve as Treasurer, Lay Leader and Lay delegate to Annual Conference. I am addicted to crossword puzzles, Facebook and murder mysteries.
