Jill's Story
After high school I completed 1 year of college at University of Wisconsin-Parkside. I moved to Island Park, Idaho, a resort area 20 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Undecided about my career path I joined the United States Navy, not a surprise since I had been a navy brat and was accustomed to moving.
I was stationed in the following locations:
Brunswick Naval Air Station July 1975-Dec 1977
Guantanamo Bay Cuba 1977-1979.

nd completed 2 more years of college majoring in math.
I moved to the Seattle WA area in 1980 and have resided here since. I was employed at the University of WA Hospital for 7 years until I decided on a career move to the United States Postal Service and I have worked as a letter carrier for 18 years, during which time I finally earned my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Washington while working full time.
I have no children but share in the joy of grandparenting my partner's 6 grandchildren.
