Jill Brown:  

Life I am a Physical Education Specialist in Tampa, Florida; and have lived here for the last 13 years. I have three children, Phillip (26)who just returned from 2 tours in Iraq with the Army Reserves; Bradley (24) and Halley (21). All three are currently living in Bryan/College Station Texas. I am enjoying teaching PE. Since I moved to Houston in Feb '77 I have really missed old friends from elementary, middle and high school. Being in Florida, I miss the Texas rolling hills and all the blubonnets in the spring! College Even though I got injured the weekend before I was to try out for my gymnastics scholarship, I managed to secure a spot as a freshman on the Class 1 team. I moved to College Station and roomed the first year and a half with Hanna Werner/Castillo. I finally moved on campus Jan 80 and stayed there until the end of my junior year. I foolishly married my coach from Houston (10 years older) and quit school 2 weeks before spring break of my senior year as I was expecting, going to school, and working. I finally returned after Halley was 18 mos old. I graduated in summer of 90 with a BS in Kinesiological Studies and Secondary Math; and started subbing in Bryan....Expand for more
