Jill's Story
Life
I am happily living back in Duluth with my husband, Kevin, who I met in law school, and our wonderful twins, Hannah and Noah, who are 9 1/2. Despite occassional desires to be home with my kids, I work full time for the State of Minnesota as a Public Defender. I enjoy being in court a lot, but it is a stressful job in many ways.
I have managed to do quite a bit of traveling since high school and it is still my favorite hobby. I find we go different places with young children, but it is all a lot of fun. Workplace
I am currently working as Public Defender for the State of Minnesota. It is rewarding work in that I am helping people who truly need my help in their navigation of a difficult system. I deal with a wide variety of people, some of whom have significant issues. Sometimes I get frustrated by people not taking responsibility for their actions, but mostly I am thankful for the things I have in my life that so many people are missing from theirs. I am thankful we live in a country that values fairness and freedom.
