Jill's Story
I have been living in Cape Girardeau County north of Jackson, Mo since April 1977. Worked for Procter & Gamble from Feb 1978 until I RETIRED on May 25, 2012. I have been married to my husband Dan since Nov 1994. My oldest, a daughter, Macaela, is a nurse practitioner at Mercy Hospital (old St Anthony's) in St Louis and living in STL. She graduated from SLU in 2003 with a degree in psychology, completed her LPN and obtained her RN in Jan 2010. In 2013 she returned to school for her Nurse Practitioner 2016 . She was married in Oct 2014 to Matt. My son Lance is a computer programmer, married in Oct 2007 and lives in Arnold with his wife Lisa. He attended UMSL for a year and a half before his deployment to Iraq with the National Guard from Jan '04 to Mar '05. He completed his computer degree at ITT in Arnold. nor in Sept 2017. My oldest step daughter, Keyla, is 3 days younger than my son, also married in Oct 2007 and lives in Pensacola, FL with her husband Josh. In 2014, she graduated and is now a dental assistant. She gave us our first granddaughter, Tober, in Apr 2008 and our third granddaughter, Lyric, in Mar 2010. My youngest step daughter, Kelly, graduated May '09 from Pensacola Jr College and majored in photography. She also completed on-line classes in 2014 for pharmacy assistant. She married in Mar 2009 to Lonnie adding a second granddaughter, Victoria, born Sept. '03. She is currently living in Phoenix, AZ. and currently working on-line for Humana as a pharmacist's asst.. Having raised all 4 kids here in the country they all have fled to the city. Now that we are both retired in 2012, Dan and I hope to do a lot more fishing and some traveling around this great country of ours.
