Jill Jewell:  

Life Met Gary Jewell in Oct 1990 - Blind date to a Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey game - set up by my sorority sister (roommate at house)- have seen him everyday since! When I met Gary he was playing semi-pro football, C league hockey, indoor soccer, and golfed every week - Finally traveled west of Oxford, Ohio via Gary to Indy, Chicago, St. Louis, C Springs(Colorado), Florida, etc for sporting events of course! - Moved out of the sorority house to the Anderson area east of Cincy(I was lucky, Gary already had a house)- Great getting away from campus! - Engaged 7/4/1991 on the beach at Myrtle -Married my sports nut on 7/11/1992 - Can't forget my anniversary! - Honeymooned to beautiful Hawaii -Finally graduated with my BSN in 6/1993 from the University of Cincinnati. Our first child, Austin Jordan, was born Oct 13, 1994 after 10 wks of bedrest & a pregnancy from hell- AJ was 6 wks early and had to be rescusitated - Has since been diagnosed with Autism - Amazing kid now! In 1996 Gary wanted to go back South - he had been stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida(Rough living on the Beach) from 1983-1986 after attending the Air Force Academy - I didn't want to go that far south so we ended up in Charlotte NC May 1996 - LOVE IT HERE! 4 hrs from the Beach and 4 hrs to the Mountains - Had Miss Gabrielle Nicole in March of 2001 - Had to think about this again - another pregnancy from hell - PreTerm Labor, Preclampsia/HTN, Diabetes, Hyperemesis - You name it I had it! - Miss Gabby is a hand full thus someone was trying to tell me not to have anymore children I now have a teenager in the house! Time goes too fast - AJ is involved in year round swimming, baseball, and tennis - AJ helped beat the meet record this past summer in the Medley Relay(he swam the free) - AJ's baseball team(Gary coaches)traveled to Cooperstown, NY this summer for a week long baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park - Yes another vacation that involved a SPORT! Had fun except for the night AJ decided to catch a fly ball with his head - trip to the ER was delightful - He's OK though - Maybe it knocked some sense into him - AJ was also very fortunate to travel to London and Paris this summer with grandma - Went on a Harry Potter tour the week the book came out - 7,000 fans in Picadily Circus - rode the chunnel, ate in the Eifel Tower, snuck into the Louvre(had already closed to more guests that day - Grandma found a side door)- AJ is a 7th grader at Randolph Middle School in the IB program - His math skills amaze me! With everything he does(we got him involved in sports as therapy for his Autism) he still makes straight A's in Honors classes! - Gabby is wide open and thinks she is Hannah Montanna! Gabby plays soccer, swims, does competitive Cheerleading, Gynmastics, and Dances - Is involved in Girl Scouts too - We have been very fortunate to find a gym wit...Expand for more
