Jill's Story
I'm married to a Zen Buddhist From Germany. He brings the brains and I bring the fun...okay, calamity. We have no children but have been foster parents and like to "rent" children (especially Colette's daughters). I change my hair color frequently and my husband wants me to go naturally gray. That's a no-can-do. I'm coloring my hair until my dying (dye-ing!) day. I've been self-employed since 1996 doing marketing and PR. We have four (count 'em) pets, only because we don't want five - two dogs and two cats. Everybody is a rescue, even the husband (heck, I'm a rescue as well). budget. I'm an Africa junkie and I've been three times. Not luxury safaris mind you, more like economy camping. Because of past jobs and free airline mileage tickets for vacations I've been to 35 countries. My favorite is Botswana. Since High School graduation I have lived in Long Beach, Los Feliz, Cardiff by the Sea, New York City (Manhattan), New Jersey (yuck!), Atlanta, in the great City of San Francisco, Half Moon Bay and now in the PNW. My favorite place of all to live is in San Francisco. I had hoped to marry money but I had to let that dream go. Of course my husband had also hoped to marry money. Sorry, honey.
