Workplace
I've done a bunch of different kinds of work... I worked in construction, as a laborer, for a few years, in my 20's; I was a barista in the espresso business for a few years too; I owned and operated a Body Toning and Tanning Salon, in the late 80's; I owned and operated a Face Painting Booth, with contracts at approx. 26 various fairs & festivals around the State, every Spring/Summer for nearly a decade. In fact, if your kids had any face painting done at the Evergreen State Fair, King County Fair,or Everett's Salty Sea Days, from 1984-85, thru the early 1990's, it was at my booth! , I've worked (mostly) as a bartender in various lounges in the Port Orchard, and Belfair areas, until a little over 3 years ago, when we took over the local taxi cab business. I handle the dispatching, and office/communications end of things, and Eric runs the rest of the show! Its a LOT of hours, we can't remember what having an entire day off feels like! It's a new experience for us, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our energy will hold out long enough to get us to the point where everything runs smoothly, even when we aren't there,....Ah yes, I AM still a dreamer, after all these years!!
