Jill's Story
For those of you who aren't still in Knightstown and didn't get to witness the drama first hand, Matt Simmons and I have divorced. Right before our 10th wedding anniversary he decided that he didn't want to be married anymore. He was convinced that I was cheating on him and would not listen to reason. I think that he was so determined to justify his relationship with another woman that he actually convinced himself that I was unfaithful. Very ugly divorced but it is now all over and we both are better without the other.
Something wonderful did come from those 10 years together; our two boys, Michae...Expand for more
l (now 11) and Jon (now 8). They have brought so much to my life and I am thankful everyday for them. They both play football and baseball and keep me pretty busy during their sport seasons.
I am currently a Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Manager for ADT and work out of an office located in Carmel. I enjoy my job and the opportunities that it has provided me allowing me to travel and expand my horizons.
I'm in the process of buying a home, all on my own for the first time. It's very exciting and yet very nerve racking at the same time.
