Jillian's Story
I live in downtown lafayette, louisiana. it's the greatest place to live with so many wonderful people and places and happenings.
my house was built in the late 1940s and i really need a new roof.
i like plants.
i have three bunny rabbits. they live on my back porch and they are very cute. i also have two huge poodles, who are the coolest dogs ever because they look like they are wearing dog costumes.
my brother is my neighbor and he has a big beard.
i play ukulele and banjo and i sing. i'm in a band called the figs. we've made two record albums and toured around the country and have even been to europe to perform.
i'm also in another band...Expand for more
called ginger lee, with 4 cute boys. we play more jazzy country music, and eat delicious food at practice.
i like cajun and swing dancing ans cajun and swing music.
i like old music, and i make a lot of my clothes.
my roommate is an upright bass player ans a really great claw hammer banjo player from clay, alabama. he's in one of my very favorite bands, the red stick ramblers.
for work i do grapic and web design and other art-like things. i've been working for myself since i was 20, and i rather like it. you can see my work, here: workagencies.com
