Jim (Skees)'s Story
Graduated from Hartley Texas Hi May 1948
Enrolled in Agriculture at PAMC Sept 1948
Graduated in May 1952
Joined the Air Force in May 1952
Married Emma Lu Suttle in November 1952
Eventually had 4 kids.
Worked in Federal Employment, mostly with FAA for 33 years.
Worked in Texas, Okla, Louisiana, Washington DC, and Anchorage. Retired in 1986 in Anchorage.
Inducted into the PAMC/OPSU hall of fame 2003.
Got an airplane in 1970 and have been flying for fun and travel since.
As of Jan 2008 we have 14 grandkids from 38 to 17.
11 great grands now from 13 to one.
Had a complete sinus resection in 1994, Prostate removed in 2005, complete knee replacement in 2006. So, I am now in good health and can run again.

Still living and and flying my airplane in Alaska.
My biggest surprise in life is how our retirement plans worked so that we have a very good life.
My current age is 78. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be OLD. I was so completely wrong.
In 10 years, I hope to be still flying my airplane. I'm going to get there by living right and the gym every day..
My favorite way to blow off steam is to Fly to my favorite fishing place and catch some silver salmon.
