Life I came to Utah in 91 for graduate school and have been stuck ever since. I became a partner in a architectural firm in the late 90's and as of the beginning of 2005 started my own firm, Darling Architecture. Best professional decision of my life. My architectural firm focuses on custom resort properties both residential and commercial in the mountain west region. The same week a graduated with my Masters from the University of Utah in 93 I got married to my wife Tracy. We've been together ever since. We waited a long time to have children and have one daughter, Emmy (6 years old) the light of my life. Unfortunately my wife has had lower back problems for most of her adult life and this condition escalated to the point in which surgery was required. Her lowest two vertebra are now fused to her pelvis with the help of six screws and three pins. I would not wish back problems to my worst enemy. For the most part things are much better now (3 years after surgery) but it was a very trying and difficult time for my family. Through rehabilitation and some time we had hoped for a good outcome and possibly the oppurtunity to have more children but that will not be possible. Although Tracy is active, works and for most days only has moderate pain caring a child in the third trimester would do further damage to her...Expand for more
