Jim's Story
Life
Worked for Southern California Edison from '69 to '88. Then worked in the entertainment industry until '04. Quit working, and now living in Wofford Heights, Calif. (Lake Isabella) Life is wonderful and retirement is even more wonderful. Don't ride anymore. Quit when the helmet law came in. Rode for 24 years after Nam without one. I refuse to ride with a helmet. My choice. Still stay in touch with Bear. Miss the fun times we had, they're in my memory forever.

'88 as a journeyman lineman. Since
about '90 I've worked in the entertainment industry. 1/1/05 Retired.
Military
Joined the Navy in '64 with Jim Hayes. After bootcamp I was assigned to the Seabees. Best thing
that ever happened to me. That's
where I became an electrician. Went
to Okinawa and then ended up in Vietnam. Got out in '68 and stayed in California. Saw Tim Colestock once in Vietnam. Went in the service at 137 lbs. Got out at 175. Now 290 lbs of twisted blue steel. Ah the good life...hahaha
