Jim's Story

Life After high school I attended Durham College and got a diploma in Graphic Arts. I worked for awhile in Toronto, but disliked sitting all day at a desk. One day a friend invited me out to church and I got really interested in knowing God for myself personally. I discovered for myself that God does exist and that you could have a personal relationship with Him. After that I went to Bible College for 3 years and graduated with a Ministerial diploma. hurches, we moved to Newfoundland and I attended Memorial University - Marine Institute in St John's, NL. I studied Marine Navigation and received certification by the Dept. of Transport. I worked 12 years on the high seas - North Atlantic, as a commercial fisherman and on a tanker. Then I went back into the ministry which is what I love to do. We moved to Manitoba where I was a Pastor of a church and a Bible College teacher. We have 4 children and live in Alberta now. Would love to hear from anyone! - Jim (you know, the shy loner type)
