Jim's Story
Life
It's been 36 years and I'm not the shy intervert you all knew me as. 20 years in the USAF (1975-1995) and over 10 years of teaching made me much more of an extrovert. I married Judith Rueckert in 1971, we had three beautiful red haired girls that have given us 4 grand childeren. Judith devorced my in 1982 and I married again on May 30, 1983 to MY SOUL MATE, Cheryl Haggard. Now I know what it is to be loved as much as I can Love someone and it's been the happiest 21 years of my live. After working as an Air Craft Doppler technician, a electronic instructor, a computer repairman, and a HVAC technician in the USAF, I bounced around the Washington DC area, where I retired, and worked one month as a moving supervisor, hotel front desk clerk, and as an electronics repairman at a conveyor plant. g. Became a DoD employee again as a GS-9 replacing a token ring computer network with a Windows NT network at Quantico Marine Base in southern virginia before being hired by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as a GS-9T12 Software Technician in 1998. Now I am a Helpdesk technician in a GS-12 step 4 position, and plan to work at DISA until I retire in 2015. I lost my Father in 1987 to Diabetes and My Mother to Alzhiemers in 1998. Cheryl is 10 years younger than I and both her 78 year old parents are still alive and I have adopted them as replacements. Her Mother has lived with us most of our married life and we now own a 4 bedroom, 3-bath, 2500 sqare, foot home in Clinton Maryland that we bought in 1993 when the USAF moved me here. We have no children and our grand childeren have visited us frquently. I am still 5'9", but now 245 rather then 145. We are cat and dog lovers, she married me with a pair of 4 year old Dobermans, and now have only 3 cats. It's a real shame big dogs do not live longer. Take Care and I miss YOU ALL.
