Jim's Story
Life
My wife (LYN) & I were married on July 16, 2001. We were blessed with our first child James Joseph (J.J.) on March 19, 2003. We bought our home in Aransas Pass, Texas near the base in which I'm stationed. I will just have 2 years remaining, March 2005, until I retire at the young age of 40!!!
Workplace
CJ's restaraunt will always be a special place for me!!! I worked there for ten years during my school age years. I considered it my second home/family. Not only did the restaraunts founder Carl Wilson create a wonderful working enviroment, he treated all his employees as one of the family. Unfortunately Carl passed away a few years back, but his family keeps his spirit alive as they continue living his dream in the restaraunt business!!! Military
Joined the Navy in March 1987, after Boot Camp and "A" School my first assignment was in Japan. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get Shore Duty as his first assignment. I spent 4 years in Japan and then moved to San Diego, Ca. where I was stationed onboard the "Love Boat" USS Dixon, a Submarine Tender. I was onboard there for 5 years, then moved to Pensacola, Fl. for another shore duty assignment. After 3 years there I returned back to Japan onboard the Frigate USS Vandegrift. Then I was assigned to the USS Cleveland, In San Diego, to complete my sea tour requirement. Only had to do one year onboard and now I'm currently attached to ATG Ingleside, Tx., where I'm hoping to finish up my career and retire after 20 years of service.
