Jim's Story
After HS, I went to Mercer County CC, and then graduated from Trenton State (it will always be that to me)College. Started teaching at Ossi Vo-Tech in Burlington County right out of college, landing the job three weeks after I graduated. Since I left Ossi in '82, I taught at BCVT for 4 years, and then became a school administrator. I just went through the ranks; was a MS Assistant Principal, HS Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, MS Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and retired after 11 years as Superintendent of Schools in two districts in upstate NY. married, with two daughters, two step-daughters, and five grandkids. I finished work on my masters and doctoral degrees at Rutgers back in the late 80s-early 90s. I even published a book based upon my research back in '98 (if you can't sleep, read it...it'll do the trick!) Anyway, I am hoping to hear from former students and classmates.
I spend half my year living in SW Florida, and half in upstate NY. It's been a great life, with the bumps and difficulties everyone faces, but still consider myself a very lucky guy.
