Jim's Story
Jim is from Vienna, Virginia (actually Falls Church). Jim's schools include James Madison High School, Potomac State College, Central Missouri State University, University of Missouri - Columbia, University of Washington and numerous others.
After receiving M.Ed. at Mizzou in 1969 moved to Seattle in the Great Pacific Northwest. Taught in Seattle S.D. and North KItsap S.D. for 30 years. Coached football at H.S. and Jr. High level and was Jr. High A.D.
Lived in Seattle, Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo, WA. Became an avid boater (sail & power...Expand for more
) spending many weeks cruising each summer in British Columbia's Desolation Sound and as far north as N. end of Vancouver Island.
Retired in 2002 and moved to Statesville, NC to help my widowed mother and taught another 6.5 years in Iredell County Schools. Retired again and accumulated too many pets and too much stuff to move again. I return to visit friends in Washington as often as possible but not since Covid.
Looking forward to getting back to playing pickleball and traveling again.
